Why, you asked, is our current change program such horribly hard work? There’s no question that we need to make changes. No rational person could deny it. But many, many people, including many who you’d expect to know better, are doing exactly that. Keeping the process going is consuming more energy than you or I should, or even can, devote to it. In fact, it may be worse than that. I wonder if any amount of our energy is going to be enough.
